Q. Is this quilt heavy enough to replace a duvet?
A. It has a light-to-medium loft. In warmer months or climates (like Australia or the Southern US), it’s perfect on its own. In colder winters, it’s the ultimate layering piece to go over your sheets and under a heavier throw.
Q. Will this fit a "Twin XL" dorm bed?
A. Yes! Our Twin (68" x 88") provides ample length and width to cover a standard Twin XL dorm mattress with a beautiful overhang.
Q. What makes the "running stitch" special?
A. Unlike mass-produced machine quilts, the running stitch is done by hand. This creates a slightly irregular, artisan texture that feels much softer and "loftier" than flat, industrial stitching.
Q. How do I wash it without ruining the striped edge?
A. Just keep it simple: cold water, gentle cycle, and mild detergent. Avoid bleach to keep the blue tones muted and the white crisp.
Q. Can I order the shams in a different color?
A. Absolutely. Since shams are sold separately, you can mix and match. If you want a custom color not listed, just send us a message!
